Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Amorette platform ("Service"), operated at getamorette.com and getamorette.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. Amorette reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Service Description

Amorette is a curated dining reservation service that connects like-minded singles through organized dinner experiences at carefully selected restaurants. Our service includes:

• Curated group dining events at partner restaurants
• Compatibility-based matching for dinner group placement
• Reservation management and booking coordination
• In-app messaging for post-event connections
• Membership tiers with varying levels of access and benefits

Amorette facilitates in-person dining experiences; we are not a dating app, matchmaking service, or escort service. We do not guarantee romantic outcomes from any event.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Amorette. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. You may only maintain one account per person.

4. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@getamorette.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Payments and Billing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize Amorette to charge the applicable fees for:

• Dinner reservations: Per-event fees charged at the time of booking
• Membership subscriptions: Recurring charges billed monthly or annually as selected

All prices are displayed in USD and are inclusive of service fees unless stated otherwise. Subscription renewals are automatic; you may cancel at any time through your account settings. Amorette does not store your full payment card details — all payment data is handled by Stripe in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Dinner reservations require payment in advance. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• More than 12 hours before the event: Full refund to your original payment method
• 6–12 hours before the event: 50% refund to your original payment method
• Less than 6 hours or no-show: The cancellation window has closed; the booking fee is forfeited

If Amorette cancels an event for any reason (e.g., insufficient participants, venue issue), a full refund will be issued to your original payment method — or, if you booked with a complimentary credit, the credit is restored to your account in full. Repeat no-shows may result in temporary or permanent suspension from the platform. Membership subscription refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact billing@getamorette.com for assistance.

7. User Conduct

Amorette has zero tolerance for the following behaviors:

• Harassment, hate speech, sexual coercion, intimidation, stalking, or threats
• Sharing private information without consent (phone numbers, addresses, workplace, social media handles)
• Attempting to bypass safety features or pressuring others to move off-platform
• Impersonation, fraud, escorting, solicitation, or recruiting
• Disruptive, abusive, or intoxicated behavior at events
• Use of the platform for any unlawful purpose

Violations may result in removal from dinners, account suspension, permanent ban, and/or reporting to venue security or law enforcement, at Amorette's sole discretion.

8. Venue Conduct

You agree to respect restaurant staff and follow venue dress codes. Arriving intoxicated, bringing illegal substances, or recording other guests without explicit consent is prohibited. You are responsible for any damages you cause at a venue during an Amorette event.

9. Content and Photos

You must use a clear, recognizable photo of yourself. Prohibited content includes nudity, images of minors, fake or celebrity images, and any content that violates our community standards. By uploading content, you grant Amorette a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use it for the purpose of providing the Service.

10. Contact Sharing

For safety, phone numbers and social handles are blocked in chat. After a dinner, you may exchange contact information only through our mutual opt-in system where both parties consent.

11. SMS Terms

By using Amorette, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages related to your account and reservations.

Message frequency varies based on user activity. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase. You may use Amorette without opting in to SMS messaging.

Your mobile phone number will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

12. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Amorette platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the matching algorithms — are the exclusive property of Amorette and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

Amorette is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we implement safety measures, we cannot guarantee the conduct of users or the outcome of any dinner experience. Background screening, where offered, is not a guarantee of safety.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amorette and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Amorette in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation by contacting hello@getamorette.com. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Class action lawsuits and class-wide arbitrations are not permitted.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise inappropriate. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting hello@getamorette.com.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
